Brrrr its chilly today... But here is a bright spark!

Today has been terribly cold here in Victoria.. I suspect perhaps snow somewhere!
I have had a busy day and just realised its the 19th. Which is my extra card day for Bizzy Bec's store..
I know I've had my head else where - as we get organised for my first trip overseas to the USA in three weeks.
I've just had fun playing with this new Gorjuss stamp set called scribble and card kit #3.. I really love these colours together. and of course shes coulored in with copics.

and I've used a  Memory Box Die - La Rue Heart, flowers and ribbon from card kit.

Now you may wonder why I've chosen to made a 50th Wedding Anniversary card - well in two weeks my parents will celebrate their golden anniversary and I thought - combine the challenge and their card and hey presto!

A Golden 50th Anniversary is certainly a momentous occasion and deserves celebration!

Just thought I would share the card 

I've made for my wonderful husband for Valentine's day.

 I hope you like it!

 

Now the verse is an old Andrew's sister's song - you can listen to it here

And you're quite right in asking - what the heck?

Since we moved into our new house - there is an apple tree in the backyard

and as we dont have a patio or shade - we've been sitting under it.

Of course it reminded me of the song and so I've been singing it for the last month or two..

Righto down to business now - I've coloured a Magnolia image with my copics and used the Memory box dies - twiggy tree with the heart canopy and the Madison Park Bench is a Poppy die.

Girl Fun

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're having a wonderful day. 

Just thought I would pop in and have a show and tell. 

Now as you know I've moved back to Victoria and am currently stalking my BFF as we have known each other for over 40 years. She has a younger family than I and so is at a different stage in life ie.. a younger mum ha ha.. 

During our weekly chats (me talking and her listening lol) She mentioned that it was her daughters birthday in a couple of weeks and she is going to have a party. 

Well of course I said - if she wants to make her party invitations.. come on over as I have some crafty gear you are welcome to use!!

 So thats what we did today! and below are some of the happy snaps of the girls working very hard on the invites and of course a picture of the finished product with the heart tags for the lolly bags as well!
