Just a quick post!

Our extension is finished.. so we are madly rushing around trying to move all the gear into the house - for my birthday party next weekend! Yup its the big 50..
And of course all my craft gear is in a huge pile... 

So far I've not had much sleep, with so much running around inside my head!!

I whipped up this cute little card to to show off the memory box die - Love script.. you can grab it from Bizzy bec's store - here

So here it is

my take on the 'Anything Goes' challenge

I've used the rose from the Dark Room door set - Full Bloom V1

I've stamped using Tim Holtz distress ink

 on water colour paper to get that kind of washed look -

 before I stamped tho, I spritzed the stamp with some water 

(not too much otherwise it gets real messy).

 Memory box dies - Darla butterfly (card) and Vivienne butterfly (vellum) 

and

 ribbon from a card kit

A Baby girl!

Its been early mornings here with the guys who are renovating my house.. 

We are adding two extra bedrooms, laundry, a family room and a deck to our existing tiny 3/1 house.

I am so loving the Chevron - Darkroom door background stamp and it works perfectly with Tim Holtz distress ink - Picked Raspberry, the stamp is a Bildmarna - Welcome baby..

A Happy moment!

Today after a pretty dismal beginning, at 4am the neighbour next door 

started playing really loud music!

I was sitting (not crafting) just surfing around the interweb... 

When the son comes in... 

looks at my Project Life Album - moves the pages back to the start

 and looks at each page intently with a smile on his face!

That was my WOW moment, 

when all this picture taking and documenting makes it all worthwhile!

I must admit the ol DH picked it up before he flew back to work and he had a smile to.. 

but he's been watching me from the start. 

The son didn't have a clue until just then.. 

He then walked back from the kitchen with the most humungous piece of banana cake

 and the silliest grin...

 so I took some pics of him with his mouth full!!!

So here's the cover! I hope you like it at much as I did, putting it together!

Congratulations - Uni Student 2014

Hi All,

I hope you're having a nice long weekend - as we are here in Victoria... My daughter has been accepted into Uni as an adult student and started last week. I thought I would make her a book mark to keep her place in one of her many books...
