Bizzy Bec's December Challenge - anything goes

Hi all,
Sorry about the long time between drinks (aka posts), but you might have read below, its been
a bit hectic at our place, with a funeral and some other family stuff happening. Not to mention
the radiator in the car died yesterday.. sigh sigh.. (yes 3 weeks before christmas)

so any ways onto the more important task of showing you my creation
for Decembers Challenge..

I've used Lawn Fawns- trim the tree stamp set..
Bizzy Bec's store link is here

So i coloured the tree with my copics
and the die cut the ornaments out with the die set that matches the stamp set.
Now I did CASe this card from the lawn fawn blog - here
but made a few changes...

The one lesson I learnt today is:
never try to dry some gold colour shine with your heat gun,
as your copics will run.. as you can see
by the right hand santa stocking.. :(
never mind.. who's gonna look that close - right???

well you have a lovely crafty day and
only 21 SLEEPS til
the ol man in the red suit arrives

Sorry I've been absent...

I just thought I'd let everyone know, we lost a very dear Uncle last week...
There is only two left in my dad's family now.. terribly sad, but thats life isnt it..

I organised and travelled down with my mum and dad to say
farewell and 'tight lines' to a good man.

These two are the youngest of 8 and the only ones left now
some crazy cousins that are having some light hearted laughs

CASEd card

Hi All,
sorry for not being around much but I've been so busy
with making wedding invitations and other such
wonderful gear for my daughters
up and coming wedding...
I've finally got around to getting some time
to put ink to paper and found the ol' mojo has
dissappeared!!
so to ease myself back into it all..
I've CASEd (copied and shared everything) from one
of the cards by Shari Carroll that was created in an online class

Here I've used Tim Holtz - Linen background using Dove Grey Stazon
and the butterflies are part of the watercolour  set
which I masked off with liquid masking fluid
the mottled background used peacock feathers and
peeled paint Distress Inks on a Memory box stencil - texture
the sentiment is from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk sticker book.

Its only a little different to the one Shari made, but I really liked how it turned out

You can grab your memory box stencil's from Bizzy Bec's online store here
and your Ranger Distress Ink pads from Bizzy Bec's online store here.

Have a great day

2014 Week 44 Project Life......

Hi All,
I promised I'd show some more PL and
well I'm still working on playing catch up with 2014, but I know I'm almost there!!
Here is one of two pages of Week #44
as you can see why, the focus is so obviously Lucy our new grandbaby :)
I've used the Dreamy PL set of cards, some Basic Grey alpha stickers,
some wood veneers, a cork heart sticker and another phrase sticker.
The kraft 4x6 cards were die cut using PL dies as I only wanted to back the photos
and not use up my stash of PL cards
I hope you like it and I look forward
to sharing some more pages in the next couple of weeks :)

I've entered this page in the Life Zesters monthly challenge

A different style ~ Project Life

Hi All,
Just slowly getting back in the saddle for posting...
I just thought I would share with you a couple of  'week' cards
I've created for my Project Life pages.
For the 'week 4' card:-
It was die cut using Lawn Fawn - Lawn cuts - Stitched Journalling die set
the Laugh and Play arrows are Memory Box's Happy Arrows stencil using
 distress ink Festive Berries,
the Week No was stenciled using MFT Die Accent Calendar,
with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn.
The number and the heart are also out of this die set, coloured with Salty Ocean and Picked Raspberry and .
then using Ranger Glossy Accents on top to make them stand out a little.
For the 'week 5' card:-
I used Memory Box's raindrops stencil with Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass.
The banner and the 2015 text is from the Lawn Fawn - Stitched Journalling die set,
the text is using Milo's ABC's stamp set from Lawn Fawn,
the clouds are from Lawn Fawn 'Hello Sunshine' die set
and then coloured with my B0000 copic markers.

Don't forget to enter Bizzy Bec;s competition - anything Goes.
