Bizzy Bec's December challenge theme: "Christmas"

Hi Everyone,

You must be wondering where I've been (missing in action) - well today we are on a plane bound for Melbourne. Over the last few months we have spent packing up our belongings (25 years worth), selling our house and resigning from my job..

Its a huge new adventure awaiting us in East Gippsland..

You will have to forgive my simple post.. but I am sure you understand the fact is.. My craft room is boxed up and currently in transit to our new house (not so new.. but new to us)..

Now Bizzy Bec's new challenge is of course "Christmas" and I have used a Magnolia snowman image and a Memory box Stary Wreath.

Now Bec has a range of memory box dies here, and if you want some Maggies.. off over here.

Bizzy Bec - November Challenge "Time or Travel"

Hi everyone - Yep that time again.. Below is my take on our new

challenge for this month - Time or Travel..

I've used a lovely Magnolia image and coloured her with my copics.

the flowers and ribbons are all from Bizzy Bec's store here

I

At the moment all my crafting goodies are all packed into boxes.. so the posts will be a bit lean for the next month or so.. as they have been for the last couple of months.. Do you know how stressful moving is - especially from WA to Vic. We have spent the last 18+ years in Western Australia and are finally moving back home to our families.

I look forward to seeing your new creations over at the Bizzy Bec's Challenge Blog here!

See you soon

Sally

ps.. 51 days til christmas

~Thank You~

I just wanted to say "Thank You" to all my crafty friends as we get closer to moving.. I only have 28 days of work to go! I am sure this wont take long to go .
Today I've spent the day at home with my hubby- as he paints one of the last walls in our house before we put it up for sale! He has also changed over all the power outlets and light switches to brand new ones! So while he had the power off - I created this little card for a friend at work who leaves us next week. It is my way of saying how much we loved having her work with us and we will miss her dearly.
Now funnily enough its also that time of the month where its my turn to create a card for Bizzy Bec's blog.
I hope you like it.

As most of my craft gear is in boxes I have a limited supply of goodies to use! But i thought i would show off a set of Cheery Lyn Design - Exotic Butterflies which you can find here in Bizzy Bec's store along with a load of different designs. I've also used some lovely satin edge sheer ribbon which is see through and goes with everything.. you can find that one here along with some other lovely colours!
Oh just so you know - I've taken this photo with my iPhone as the camera and photo booth are also packed!
Well thanks for looking and I look forward to seeing your cards in Bizzy Bec's current Challenge - Things with wings.. You still have a little time to get your entry in and you could be in the running for a Whimsy Wee Stamp called  Summer Fairy.

Bizzy Bec's October Challenge - Things with Wings

Wow where did the time go?

Well here at Bizzy Bec's its time for next challenge - Things with Wings.

Below is my take on the challenge...

Now I've used a lovely Magnolia image and coloured her with my copics. I've used some Bo Bunny papers in the background!

You can get Magnolia images from Bec and she currently has this season's Christmas stamps on pre-order here .

My blogging will be a bit scarce over the next couple of months as we are in the midst of moving to Victoria, this includes selling our house, packing and yep the move. Hence I've packed up 98% of my craft gear (boy - that's hard to do) and I only have a minimal stash.

take care and I am looking forward to seeing your newly made creations. Just a gentle reminder to ensure you adhere to the rules of the challenge or you arent in the running to win a prize.

95 days til Christmas!!

So now I've got your attention and you've gone into shock!!  Even I got a wee bit dizzy when I saw how close Christmas is.. Oh have you noticed that the shops have started to put Christmas things on the shelves?
To add to my collection of 2012 Christmas cards - Here is another one I've put together..
I've used the Memory Box Winterland Tree die, one of Bizzy Bec's digi christmas collection - Nick's christmas star and some of Bec's lovely ribbon. As you can see Nick is going to pop that Star at the top of the tree! You can buy both and much more from Bizzy Bec's online store here.

Now I've kept Nick quite flat as of course I'll have to post him and he's just the right size to pop into a standard envelope.
I hope this is the kick start you need to get into starting your Christmas card collection for this year. Now don't forget there is still time to create a card and enter it into Bizzy Bec's September Challenge ~  'MALE CARD with a TAG/ TAGS. Enter and you could win

The prize for this month is this gorgeous stamp from

 Wild Rose Studio Christmas Stamps
"BELLA with SLEDGE

Isnt she cute?  I look forward to seeing what you can create.

My First Chrismas Card for 2012

Happy Sunday everyone,

I've just spent a lovely day resting at home and putting together this card. My first of many christmas cards to give away.
I've used a Magnolia image and coloured her with my trusty copic pens. I've added some stickles to make her glitter, liquid pearls, Memory box Frostyville Border die and the paper I used was My Minds Eye (and I loved this paper so much I have two packs) and yes it was last years release and I've only just used the first papers out of the pack.. You buy it cause its so pretty and then it just looks at you and says "I'm too pretty to use".. ha ha
Now don't forget you can get the Magnolia stamps, glitter and paper from Bizzy Bec's online store

Please let me know what you think ..

Now dont forget you still have time to enter this month's Bizzy Bec Challenge of Spots and Stripes!!! and below is the fab Winterland Tree Memory box die you could win!!
