Happy father's day!!
I just thought I would share a card that I made - whilst having a go at colouring in - using a blender pen and some inks...
I hope you like it!
As you can see I have used basic grey card with kiwi kiss, urban garden backed with not quite navy, stamped on whisper white. .
Stamp sets - Short order alphabet and Loads of Love.
Ink pads - black, basic grey, kiwi kiss, baja breeze and riding hood red.
Chalk - not quite navy.
Brads - vintage (antique brass)..
And the last ingredient - lots of love for my dad.
Have a great night

My first workshop/class
My thanks to my friend Annette, Sandra, Jenny and her friend.. (and to Neil who went shopping and left us girls to it!)
We had a great time and apologies for the blinding flash/glare in the mirror...
It was a hoot and I will be wanting to do this again soon..
As you can see we made quite a mess, but geez did we have some laughs.. especially when the demonstrator got her own card a bit out of whack!! But then isnt that just having a creative moment.. ha ha..
Ok, I'm off... have a great night

My beautiful Girls
Hi,
I thought I would share a mum's moment with you all and show you how beautiful my girls are! This was at their birthday dinner and I love them heaps.
They are both clever, intelligent, beautiful, smart, wonderful, caring, women and I am so proud of them both.
Aren't I the lucky mum...

Its all over
Well, the birthday (s) are over... I feel exhausted!
We had a lovely night at the Burswood - with dinner at the Atrium restaurant... Did someone mention that PINK was playing at the dome.. OMG!! there were people everywhere!
So anyways - I am back at work (sigh sigh).. and I have a workshop booked for sunday..
I thought I would show you what I made my daughters instead of the usual stock standard key!
I hope you enjoy them!
Most of the gear I used is available through Stampin Up, except for the paint and the chipboard pieces.. I had a lot of fun making these, as the girls chose their paper and then all I had to do was match the paint and ribbon. Between their name and messages I placed some card which everyone at their dinner signed and wrote lovely messages.
Have a great night.. I will post after this weeks workshop and you can have a look at what we made.
Bye for now.

Inspiration Challenge #9
I really like Makeesha Byl's blog and thought I would have a go at her challenge. Looking at the other ladies submission's - there is a lot of talent out in SU land.
Well, here is my card. Just remember I do have my 'L' plates on.. And my supplies are limited! all I could think of when I saw the Latte stamp is a chocolateish color. (is that really a word??)
My supplies were Kraft, Close to cocoa and Confetti white. Ink is Choc chip as is the ribbon. And there is a bit of choc chip chalking around the edge - a bit hard to see. The paper is (I think last years) close to cocoa - please let me know if I am incorrect.
Enjoy your evening.

Another couple of cards
I know these are quite simple. I had a small (two person) workshop at work during lunch (we only had 1/2 hr) and this is what I made.
I won't bother with the recipe, as it is quite simple and could be fancied up with ease. Help yourself..
This next one is a copy (yes a blatent copy) of a card that Claire (Creative Puddle) sent me. So thanks Claire!!
Have a great day.

How I wanted to get my hands on this guy!
Once I saw him in the catalogue... I couldnt wait until I could play and YES, he is a rooster!!!
Stamps: Rustic Rooster
Paper: choc chip and Whisper white
Ink: Choc chip, versamark and Real red
Punch: circle.
I used the choc chip chalk and dusted around the rooster after I tore the edge!..
I hope you enjoyed this card, as I did and yes I did CASEd from Splitcoaster stampers.
Take care
Labels:
Hostess Gift,
Rustic Rooster,
Tearing
Ok... Circle Circus... This one was fun to do
I guess you want the recipe?
Stamps: circle circus and Think happy thoughts
Paper: choc chip, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Whisper white
Ink: Choc chip, pumpkin pie, old olive and Whisper white craft
Punchs:Scallop circle and circles.
Ribbon: Pumpkin pie and old olive grosgrain..
I know pretty simple and thanks to the person on Splitcoast who had the great ideas!I did have to think about how to make the scallop stamp become more than one colour and out came the pens!
I know, I know... slacker eh!
I have finally got around to taking some photos of the cards I have made! But yet again Photoshop crashed. Luckily my IT expert (Mark) came to the rescue.. And now it seems to be working again! These cards are either from the catalogue, CASEd from Claire or from Splitcoast stampers. Although this first one I made for our new Great Niece Elizabeth Eileen.
Keep watching - am on a roll with uploading. Enjoy, please

I am having fun!
Since I have been confined to the house ill - what the heck... lets get crafting. I have set myself a challenge to use every stamp set that I own which is in the current catty along with the borrowed ones from Claire and Michelle.
So I will finish my challenge today then its to the photoshop and uploading. Some of the designs are from the catty (with some slight variations - as I don't have every type of ink pad, ribbon, brad etc...) Some have been CASEd from Splitcoaststampers and the others are from Claire. She is such a wonderful person and shares everything.
Here in Perth the weather is going to be miserable so I am glad to be inside..
NEWSFLASH!!!!
We are getting eggs from the girls, Lenny, Red and Jess.. I have collected two in the last three days so it looks like all the hardwork (not) is paying off!!
Well its off to play some more - have a wonderful day.
Please check back in a couple of days to take a peek at my hard work.. I was working so hard yesterday - when my hubbie rang from up north (FIFO) I thought it must have been lunch time, but Oh No.. I had worked right through lunch and it was about 1.30pm.. Whoops... ha ha ha how time flys when you are having fun!!
Love ya lots

What a month! and it hasn't finished yet....
Sorry for being away so long!
Today I am home sick - yes I have the Flu, although some have suggested its the swine variety (I think not) as I am feeling more human as the hours go by!
My dad's sister passed away earlier this month - and I have spent most of the time worrying about him, as well as him going to the doctor and having a melanoma cut from his ear! I guess men of his age 70's went without hats for most of their life and are now paying the price. So we had to wait for his results - thank goodness it was good news - however, there are still some spots the doctors are watching! I have been trying to get the creative process flowing and I must say its been hard. My hubby has been painting some walls inside for the big 21st in August ( my girls - yes two of them, are turning 21) the family will be visiting and this to some extent puts creativity on the back burner! Hopefully he will be finished this weekend and I will be able to clean up all the dust he manages to get everywhere! and we can get some semblence of "clean house"..
Take care and stay safe..
Perhaps this arvo I will get to have a play.

Creative juices are flowing ~ with some catalogue help.
Well,
I've had a go and here's what I've come up with! Yes, they are out of the catalogue - which is what everyone has told me to do... and I must say they look ok.
Well have a great day/night.
Stay safe
